MESSINA ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE
GREENWICH - Jeremy Messina has announced his candidacy for the 113th Assembly District serving parts of Washington, Saratoga and Warren Counties. Messina is a lifelong resident of Washington County and currently resides on his family’s farm in Greenwich with his wife and two daughters. Messina has served on the Greenwich and Washington County Republican Committees for eight years and is actively involved in his community. He believes in limited, constitutional government and was raised on strong conservative principles. Messina believes strongly in all the rights given by the United States Constitution.
“I am excited to announce my candidacy for the 113th Assembly District,” Messina said. “It is extremely important to have a representative that will fight for our Upstate values in Albany and who will focus on making New York a better and more affordable place to live.”
Messina has experienced first-hand what it is like to run a business in New York and understands why New York is continuously rated as one of the worst states for businesses. He believes that promoting business and economic growth is essential to bolster the state’s economy and to maintain and grow the state’s population.
Messina said, “New York residents and especially young people are leaving New York in record numbers. The continuous over-spending and fiscal irresponsibility of the Democrats in Albany has caused our tax rates to be among the very highest in all of the Country. The current government has allowed disastrous policies, like paying for illegal immigrants in New York City, to add to the State’s $400 billion debt. Dramatic changes need to happen, and I am the person who will fight for those changes. As your State Representative, I will fight to make it affordable and worthwhile for our residents to stay here, build their businesses here, raise their families here and retire here.”
“The Democrats’ continuous push for green energy and one-source electric heating does not take Upstate needs and values into account. Residents should have the freedom to choose what works best for them and should not be forced to comply with policies that favor New York City,” Messina said.
“New York’s future is in danger as we lose taxpayers to other States because of these irresponsible policies that kill our businesses, jobs and freedom. I am willing to take a stand and fight for the things that are important to Upstate New Yorkers.” Messina stated, “I am excited for the opportunity to represent the community that I love and I will be open, honest and transparent with all of my constituents. I expect to be held accountable for my promises and will always be willing to listen to concerns and work towards a resolution.”
Jeremy Messina humbly and respectfully asks for your vote on November 5, 2024 for the 113th State Assembly District.
