Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Jackson, County of Washington and State of New York, has duly received the tax roll and warrant for collection of taxes within the Town of Jackson for the year 2026 and that I will attend the named place in said Town for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on the said roll:

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes shall be received without interest or penalty during the month of January if clearly postmarked by January 31st, 2026. Taxes paid by payment processing companies (online payments) must arrive on or before January 31, 2026 to be considered on time as there is no postmark. On all taxes remaining unpaid by February 1, 2026 an additional one percent per month will be added until the return on unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer.

DEADLINES FOR ANNUAL VOTE
Cambridge Central School District Clerk, Kate Canini, has released the calendar for the school district’s annual budget vote to be held in May.
Petitions to place a proposition on the ballot at the annual budget vote in May must be received in the District Clerk’s Office no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026.
There will be two vacancies on the Board of Education. Submission of petitions for nomination of Board candidates must be filed with the District Clerk no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026. Petitions are available in the District Clerk’s office.
The Annual Budget Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The Annual Budget Vote and Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM.
